Carrie Underwood Falls, Receives 40+ Stitches to Face

The seven-time Grammy Award winner, Carrie Underwood, fell outside of her home in early November and suffered a broken wrist and sustained an injury to her face resulting in over 40 stitches.

The 34-year-old American Country music singer will be taking some time off for her recovery, but is optimistic about 2018. Ms. Underwood wrote on her fan club website, "It’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life".
